Sweet french toast
I bring a sweet breakfast out of bed by many people
- 8 slices of sweet pastry (Christmas, flatbread, brioche …)
- 2 eggs
- 100 ml of cream or whole milk
- 1 packet of vanilla sugar
- 2 PL powdered sugar
- oil for preparation
- honey or syrup for screening
Whisk the eggs well with a fork. Add cream, vanilla sugar and powdered sugar. Mix everything well. Dip of the Christmas slices into the egg and fry in warm oil on each to side until golden color. Serve hot with powdered sugar or drizzled with honey, maple syrup or molasses.
For sweet French toasts, you can also use white toasted bread, which has a sweet taste. If you add a piece of butter to the hot oil, the taste of the toast will be even more delicious. Depending on the season, you can add fresh or compote fruit toast.
